Rev. Larry Sheppard was installed as pastor of our congregation in September of 2011. He was born August 17, 1961 in Saginaw, MI.
He attended St. Lorenz Lutheran School in Frankenmuth, MI from 1967-1975, and graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1979.
After serving in the United States Army from 1983-1986, he worked in the warehouse and shipping industry while attending college, graduating from Delta College in Saginaw, MI in 1994, and from Concordia Theological Seminary in 1999. He served his vicarage year in New Rockford, ND, and has served churches in Lakeview and Stanton, MI from 1999-2006, and most recently inOwensboro, KY from 2006-2011 before accepting the call to serve Prince of Peace.
Pastor was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann Husen on June 25th, 1983. Kim is an LPN. Pastor and Kim have three children, Jason, Krysta, and Kayla.
